Our community has done well to raise money for the ongoing Hall improvements, but for the £88,000 we need for the next stage we could really do with a grant boost from an outside body. To that end we have applied for £15,000 from the National Lottery Community fund awards for all and £65,000. from the Veolia Environmental Trust. Our success with these bodies will determine what we can do next. We should know the outcome of these applications in March.
It will come as no surprise to know that the groups that regularly use the hall are enthusiastically supporting us.
